Filing a claim with the valet company-September 22, 2009

On September 21, 2009, I called Imperial Parking Industries to discuss the Theft of my vehicle due to their negligence. I spoke to Ali Yeganeh, president/owner of Imperial Parking Industries, who told me that he would need time to find out about the incident, as no one had reported to him, as of that time, that a vehicle was stolen while in their care and custody (even though 8 days had passed since the incident). I then spoke to a receptionist at that company to try to get a hold of Danny Semaan, the parking supervisor. I was told by her that Danny no longer worked there. I asked her for his phone number, and when I called that number (818-425-2195) the greeting message announced a parking service (Pacific Parking) which was different than Imperial Parking Industries. I told him I wanted to file a claim against Imperial Parking Industries NOW; as I felt I was getting a run around. He told me that would be at James Beach that Friday and he would speak to me at that time. I insisted that I wanted to file a claim now, and only then did he tell me where I could get a claim form,

I downloaded a standard claim form for Imperial Parking Industries, inc. from the internet, filled it out and attached all pertinent information to substantiate my claim of gross negligence by the valet company to have caused the theft of my vehicle and mailed it on September 22, 2009 to Imperial Parking Industries (View claim and supporting documents). On September 28, 2009, I received a letter from Maarco & Associates, a claims management company for the valet company, stating that the valet company was not responsible and that they deny my claim (View denied claim ).

After receiving this letter, I was set to bring the valet company into small claims court, but then I received a letter from Rickenbacker Collection Services looking to collect over $1200.00 for the police impound tow yard for storage of my vehicle (View Rickenbacker claim ).-not knowing what other claims I might face in the future, I decided to hold off on seeking settlement from the valet company at that time.
